How to use SamUpdate?

  2. Open the Odin Tool.

    • Press the Volume Down, Power, and Home buttons at the same time for 5-8 seconds until download mode is activated.
    For models that do not have a physical “Home” button, the procedure is usually:
    1. Connect the device's USB cable to the computer initially only.
    2. Now press the “Volume Down” and “Volume Up”buttons and keep these buttons pressed, and connect the USB cable to the smartphone, remembering that the other end must already be connected to the computer.
    3. When Download Mode appears, release all keys.
    4. The initial screen will come with a warning “Warning” and asking you to choose whether you want to continue in download mode or if you want to exit. The options are:
      • Option 01: Press the Volume Up button “Volume up” if you want to continue in download mode. Note: This is the right option to perform the procedure.
      • Option 02: Press the Volume Down button “Volume down” to cancel and exit download mode.
  4. Connect your device to the PC via a USB cable, if it is not already connected,and keep the cable connected while in download mode.
  5. Afterwards, make sure the options of "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time"in Odin Tool are checked. If you want to see the brand options, click on the "Options" button in the simulator below.
  6. Load the files as shown in the simulator below.
